Founded in 1983, the Second Wind Running Club is Champaign-Urbana's premier running and walking club. Membership is open to all ages and levels, from beginning walkers to seasoned runners. With around 300 members, there is truly something for everyone.

Weekly fun runs, speed sessions
Full and half-marathon training programs targeted at the spring Illinois Marathon and fall Chicago Marathon & Indianapolis Monumental Marathon
Volunteer opportunities at local races throughout the year
Pizza parties and other social events
Discounts on club races and a 10% discount at CU's top running store, Body N' Sole
Individual membership: $20, Family membership: $30 (renewable annually)
