Even though we never did make it into Silicon or an official ISO release, we'll exist forever in the minds and imaginations of some of the most creative and dedicated hardware, software, and systems engineers on the planet. In 1992 a souvenir book was given to all employees to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the founding of Sun Microsystems. The year at the bottom has been "reworked, patched, ECO'd, etc." to read "2017" instead of "1992" to let you know whether you've been here 35 years or 35 days, you'll always be a part of the Sun family. Take a minute of your time to read the introductory letter from this book written by Scott McNealy. It captures the spirit of this incredible journey and is every bit as relevant today as when it was first penned 25 years ago.
