Spammers attempting to join group

I have been moderating a lot of bot created gmail accounts that are
trying to join the group, then spam the members. The ones I have
identified have been deleted. Moderators, please be careful about
approving group membership. If the request has a gmail account and
several numbers, ususally 4-5, in the name, do not approve, ignore or
delete.
