Should I Download Bing Or Edge

Has anyone seen an issue with Edge/Bing on iOS where it thinks you are in a different country? When I search from my iphone, it thinks I am in Great Britain and I see UK results first (amazon.co.uk instead of amazon.com). I tried to fix it - I tapped the menu on the upper right hand side of my screen, tap settings, tap country/region (it shows UK), tap change your country/region, scroll down to united states and tap save. The region now shows properly (US). I close the browser and reopen; it switches back to UK. I also went to bing.com first via edge browser and when I search I still get the UK responses. I do not have this issue if it's browsing in private (settings show US as the country region). have tried the following:
You won't be able to get rid of this thing in the Dev build using just the Settings options - and bythe time you read this article, maybe there will be an option. For now, there isn't one. Nevertheless,you should go through the settings and carefully disable anything and everything you can regarding thisunnecessary sidebar and this button. I went into the Settings menu, and toggled off everything. Inparticular, under App specific things, there's Discover that needs to be undiscovered.
Now, if you're using the Stable build, or other builds, you may not yet see the Bing button, or itmay disappear through conventional means (settings). Cortana / Start Menu Search redirects links by using the protocol URL:microsoft-edge. EdgeDeflector works by also registering that protocol and allowing you to select the default browser to handle the web request
I too was wondering why you can't just start microsoftedge.exe, like you do "old-style" applications in windows 10. Searching the web, I found the answer -- it has to do with how Microsoft implemented "Universal Apps".
I want to add an observation from my end. Windows doesn't detect the command microsoft-edge if I remove the trailing colon. I thought colon would be required only when I've to provide the target URL to open e.g. when I've to open a blank tab. But that's not the case. Color (:) is required all the time.
1. To use Bing with ChatGPT, point your web browser (which should be Edge for the foreseeable future) to www.bing.com and type your question into the search box. For the purposes of this tutorial, I'll ask "I'm traveling to Dublin in September. What should I do?"

Et voila, Bing returns a footnoted list of bands playing Dublin in September with links to where it found the info and suggestions for what I should ask next. Hover your mouse over the response and you'll see thumbs up/thumbs down icons appear, which you can click to tell Microsoft it was a good/bad answer (respectively). If you see anything which requires more comment, you should click the Feedback button in the bottom-right corner and tell Microsoft directly.

Alternatively, Microsoft has also released the Bing Image Creator as its own standalone website, so you don't need to use Microsoft Edge to generate images. You won't be using the Bing chat window here, but the results should be the same.
