We are glad to inform you that the Department of Mechanical Engineering is organizing a Two Day National Level Workshop titled “Advanced Engineering Optimization and Modeling using MATLAB & SCILAB” on 29th and 30th November 2012.
Wherein the IIT Bombay outreach participates and conducts SCILAB and issues certificate.
The main objective of this workshop is to promote the application of optimization techniques in engineering sciences. The workshop provides a forum in which the participants obtain information about recent advances of optimization techniques and their applications.
The workshop also provides exposure to the capabilities and benefits of using MATLAB and SCILAB in solving real world optimization problems.
