Quarterly Incident Reporting for the period ended on December 31, 2025
Highlights of BSE Circular dated December -31 -2025
This is with reference to SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/ ITD-1/ITD_CSC_EXT/P/CIR/2024/113 dated August 20, 2024, and Exchange notice no. 20190716-9 dated 16 July 2019 and Exchange Notice No. 20240822-13 dated August 22, 2024, wherein members were informed to submit the Quarterly Cyber Security Incident reporting through BSE E-Filing System “BEFS” only, within 15 days from end of the quarter. In this regard, the due date for submission of Quarterly incident report for the period of October 2025 - December 2025, is January 15, 2026.
Members are requested to submit digitally signed quarterly report on cyber alert / attacks for the quarter ending December 2025 through BSE E-Filing System “BEFS”. Please note that the timeline for submission of the report shall be 15 days from the end of the quarter. The submission process should be treated as completed only when an acknowledgement mail is received.

Additionally, with reference to Exchange Notice No. 20250929-81 dated September 29, 2025, regarding technology-based sharing mechanisms for common submissions among exchanges, Members of the Exchange who are also registered with NSE shall submit their Quarterly incident reporting to NSE only. Exclusive members of BSE shall continue submitting their reports to the Exchange through the BEFS portal, following the existing process.
The Guidelines for submitting the Quarterly Cyber Incident Report through the BEFS portal is given in Annexure 1. Further, in case of any nonsubmission/delayed submission, disciplinary action as per the Exchange Notice no. 20251010-20 dated October 10, 2025, will be initiated.
In addition to the above, members are also advised to follow the process of Immediate Incident Reporting, as and when applicable, as per Exchange notice no. 20250108-42 dated January 08, 2025.
Members are requested to take note of the above and ensure compliance.
