Highlights of the Circular :
This is with reference to Circular No. NCDEX/TECHNOLOGY- 008/2026 dated March 04, 2026, regarding “Postponement of Mock Trading (Contingency Drill) on March 07, 2026” Exchange will be conducting the Contingency Mock trading session on Saturday, 28 March 2026.
With reference to the Exchange Circular No. NCDEX/TECHNOLOGY- 011/2026 dated March 16, 2026 on “Setup with DNS changes for NEXTRA File Uploader and NEXTRA UDIFF file uploader”, Members were provided with new setup configurations for NEXTRA File uploader and UDIFF file uploader which is live in parallel from March 16, 2026.
Members are requested to test the applications in the mock as well with the revised new setups and certify the same.
Members please note that the existing setup without DNS changes will be discontinued from 28th March 2026.
The schedule for mock will be as per the table given in the attached circular.
W.r.t safer participation of Retail investors in Algorithmic trading
Members are requested to refer circular No. NCDEX/TRADING-025/2025 dated July 24, 2025 on SOP for implementation of Safer participation of retail investors in Algorithmic trading and circular No. NCDEX/TRADING 030/2025 dated September 19, 2025. The functionalities as per the aforesaid circulars shall be available for testing in the mock of March 28, 2026.
Further members can test the same in the test environment of the Exchange. Kindly refer circular No. NCDEX/TECHNOLOGY-032/2019 dated August 1, 2019 Continuous Mock Environment / Test Market Enhancement w.r.t timings for the daily test environment of the Exchange.
Scope of Mock

Web NCFE and Web Extranet
Members are hereby informed that production WEB NCFE and Web Extranet will not be available from Saturday, 28 March 2026 - 02:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. However, for the purpose of mock, the test Web NCFE and Web Extranet portal will be available.
Please refer to ‘Annexure A’ for activities to be performed for Web NCFE
Members are requested to note that client allocation, client collateral segregation reporting and limit files for production will not be processed on Saturday, 28 March 2026 from 12:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Mock URLs
Please refer to the URLs given in the attached circular that will be used during the mock session.
BOD and EOD Files for Mock Session -
All BOD files i.e. NCDEX.zip, BMS_RA, BMS_RPF will be available on the Common.ncdex.com website under NCDEX Docs/Mock/
Members may kindly note that they shall be able to download their end-of-day files from their respective mock folders on the Member Extranet server post mock.
Members using approved algorithmic software are required to adhere to circular NCDEX/ TECHNOLOGY-015/2016/125 dated May 31, 2016, for mandatory participation in mock trading session, irrespective of whether their algorithm has undergone a change or not.
Members are requested to note that trades resulting from this session shall not attract any obligation in terms of funds and commodities pay-in / pay-out.
Members should ensure to put in place adequate mechanism to restore their trading systems to 'production state' at the end of the testing session to ensure integrity of stockbrokers' trading system.
Members are requested to participate actively in the mock trading session from all trading software and re-login into the live environment to check the connectivity and to avoid any login issues on Monday, 30 March 2026.
Tick By Tick (TBT) broadcast testing
Tick by Tick Trading Market Data for Derivatives segment will be available to members. They can test Tick by Tick (TBT) broadcast by connecting to the TBT gateway through a separate PLS/P2P connection. Members are requested to use TBT compliant software for connecting to the TBT gateway. However, kindly note that in the event of an actual disaster, the P2P link may not be available to members.
