CDSL Circular on Facility for cancellations of overdue early Pay-In (EP) tranactions

Highlights of  the Circular :

CDSL is pleased to inform its Depository Participants (DPs) about the introduction of a facility for cancellation of intra-depository (within CDSL) “Overdue” Early Pay-in (EP) transactions in the CDSL system.

This facility is scheduled for release on June 5, 2026, and shall be effective from June 6, 2026.

DPs are advised to:

• Refer to the enclosed file format pertaining to Upload and Response for cancellation of Overdue EP transactions, and
  
  
• Initiate necessary back-office/system changes, wherever applicable.

The introduction of this facility is intended to provide operational flexibility in handling EP transactions which are in “Overdue” status within the CDSL system.
