MCX Circular on Reminder - Advisory for Financial Sector Organizations regarding Software as a Service (SaaS) based solutions

Highlights of the Circular :
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued a Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD2/DOR/CIR/P/2020/221 dated November 03, 2020, Exchange circular no MCX/TECH/430/2022 dated July 19, 2022, MCX/TECH/463/2023 dated July 11, 2023 and MCX/TECH/383/2026 dated July 03, 2026 on “Advisory for Financial Sector Organizations regarding Software as a Service (SaaS) based solutions”
The compliance of the advisory shall be reported by Member on half yearly basis that is for the period January 2026 to June 2026. Members are required to submit the compliance through online Member Portal – https://member.mcxindia.com and portal shall be available for submission till July 31, 2026. Help file ‘Software as a Service (Saas)–help file’ is available on the SaaS submission online portal and on https://sftp.mcxindia.com/Common portal help file folder.
Further, with reference to Exchange circular No. MCX/MEM/499/2025 dated September 29, 2025, regarding technology based sharing mechanisms for common submissions among exchanges, Members of the Exchange who are also registered with NSE shall submit their SaaS reporting to NSE only.
Members are once again reminded to submit the aforesaid submission in the prescribed format on the Exchange Portal on or before July 31, 2026
Members are requested to take note of the above and ensure compliance.
