DPs are advised to refer to communiqué no. CDSL/OPS/DP/POLCY/2020/398 dated September 15, 2020, regarding the availability of the Monthly Stamp Duty Utilization Report (SDUR) in the DP’s Billing folder for reconciliation of stamp duty amount debited from the DP’s Stamp Duty Account.
DPs are further advised to note the following:
1. In line with the existing Monthly SDUR, CDSL has commenced providing a Daily SDUR to facilitate enhanced monitoring and reconciliation of stamp duty information.
2. The Daily SDUR is made available to DPs daily in the DP’s Billing folder. The report can be downloaded using the file name BLNG0DP_Stamp_Duty_Report
3. The Daily SDUR contains details of transactions of the previous business day for which stamp duty has been debited.
4. The Daily SDUR will be generated only where stamp duty has been debited.
5. The DP-wise Daily SDUR will include details of transactions where stamp duty has been debited from the DP’s Stamp Duty Account.
6. The format of the Daily SDUR is provided in Annexure–A.
DPs are requested to note that, in view of the availability of the Daily SDUR, the Monthly SDUR will be discontinued effective from July 2026. The report is scheduled to be generated from July 1, 2026, as the last monthly report is being generated for the month ended June 2026.
DPs are advised to take note of the same and carry out necessary changes in their back-office systems, wherever applicable.
