Mock Trading from Disaster Recovery Site (DRS)
Highlights of MCX Circular dated June-26-2025
In terms of provisions of the Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of the
Exchange, members of the Exchange are notified that the Exchange shall be
conducting mock trading session on Saturday, June 28, 2025 to
test performance of the system.
Members using CTCL facility are requested to actively participate in the mock
trading session using CTCL software as per Trading interface – MCX Enhanced
Trading Interface (ETI) API version 1.4.2 dated August 14, 2024.
Members are also requested to use this opportunity for testing their trading
application from their Disaster Recovery site.
Members may please note that trades resulting from mock trading on June
28, 2025 will not attract any obligation for pay-in and payout.
Members may note that participation on Saturday, June 28, 2025, mock
is available through existing leased line connectivity to DR site. Members
connecting via internet (with RSA) may participate in this mock trading using
their live (existing) SSL VPN ids through SSL VPN link https://trade.mcxindia.com.
The connectivity details for the Mock Trading session of trading platform are
provided in Annexure 1.
The Default password related details are provided in Annexure 2.
Members should put in place an adequate mechanism to restore their trading
systems to the production state at the end of mock session to ensure integrity
of their trading system.
After the mock trading session, members are requested to log-in into live
environment from 05:00 pm to 05:30 pm on June 28, 2025. to
check the connectivity in order to avoid any log-in problem on the next trading
day in the live environment.

In terms of
provisions of the Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of the Exchange, members of
the Exchange are notified that the Exchange shall be conducting mock trading
session on Saturday, July 05, 2025.
Trading Members may please refer to Exchange Circular MCX/CTCL/281/2024 dated April 30, 2024, and MCX/CTCL/891/2020 dated November 25, 2020, regarding
testing of software used in or related to Trading and Risk Management. Members
having approved algorithm strategies irrespective of the algorithm having
undergone change or not, mandatorily required to participate in the mock
trading session using all algorithm strategy/strategies. Trading members using
third party trading platforms of empaneled vendors or in-house developed
systems through ETI API can use this opportunity to test their respective
trading applications from their Disaster Recovery site as well, during mock
trading session. Members are requested to actively participate in the Mock
Trading Session from all trading software.
