Highlights of BSE Circular dated May-28-2025
This circular is issued in continuation to ICCL circular no. 20241022-59
dated 22 Oct 2024, circular no. 20250107-39 dated 07 Jan 2025, and circular no 20250429-70 dated 29 Apr 2025 regarding the
implementation of Common Contract Note (CCN) format with single -Volume
weighted average price (VWAP).
As part of the implementation roadmap and to ensure smooth transition, a
dedicated environment was made available to market participants from 07-
Apr-2025 till 23-Apr-2025. Additionally, a market-wide mock was also conducted
out on 26-Apr-2025 followed by a purity mock on 10-May-2025, 17-May-2025 and
24-May-2025.
Pursuant to SEBI’s directive, clearing corporations (CCs) are facilitating
end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for market participants.
To support this transition, Members and Custodians are advised to participate
in the UAT testing session scheduled on Saturday, May 31, 2025, wherein trades
of May 28, 2025, will be made available in the UAT environment for validating
post-trade processes. The business date and settlement number across all
reports and processes shall reflect 28-May-2025.
Interface Access & Additional notes
In addition, live akin MOCK sessions simulating full trade lifecycle are
also planned in upcoming weeks. Details for the same will be notified
separately.
Members are requested to actively participate and ensure that all necessary
validations are conducted as per the timelines to support a seamless
implementation of the CCN framework.
