BSE circular on Financial Disincentive (Charges) for not uploading the TWS/ETI/BOLTPLUS Location information for the month April 2026

Highlights of  the Circular

Attention of the Trading Members is drawn to Exchange Notice no. 20070531-8 dated May 31, 2007, 20070828-28 dated August 28, 2007, 20131204-9 dated December 4, 2013 and 20131213-26 dated December 13, 2013, 20180925-4 dated September 25, 2018, 20250924-54 dated September 24, 2025 and 20251223-22 December 23, 2025 to ensure that all the TWS/ETI/BOLTPLUS terminals are registered with the Exchange and applicable penalty is imposed as per Notice no. 20251010-20 dated October 10, 2025 and 20260417-45 dated April 17, 2026 regarding action for not uploading the TWS/ETI/BOLTPLUS details to the Exchange.

The Exchange has been downloading daily files viz., LCddmmyy.xxxx through Extranet, containing information regarding terminal locations, which are not registered or are incorrectly registered and orders have been punched from those locations. These location codes attract financial disincentive of ₹1,000/- per instance, as per the Exchange Notice no.20251010-20 dated October 10, 2025 and 20260417-45 dated April 17, 2026, on placing the order from these terminals.

The Financial Disincentive file for the month of April 2026 has been downloaded with the filename LCSmmyy.xxxx (LCS0426.xxxx for April 2026) in today’s Equity Transaction Folder in Extranet. The Financial Disincentive as indicated in the LCS file would be debited to the General Charges Account upon completion of 60 days from date of notice hereof.

In case, any Member desires to seek a waiver of the financial disincentive / review of action, it is requested to refer Exchange Notice No.20251008-67 dated October 08, 2025, which inter-alia provide the details such as email id, time period, processing fees etc.

Kindly note that all correspondences / emails to seek a waiver in this regard need to be addressed to the Exchange on Waiver...@bseindia.com with the subject line “Waiver / review of Financial Disincentive_<TM Name>_<Clg No.-->_LOCATION MISMATCH-APR -2026.

The Trading members are advised to ensure strict compliance and upload the TWS/ETI/BOLTPLUS terminal location details to the Exchange before punching the orders from the said location.
