CDSL circular on Online Updation of DP Services Centre

Highlights of the Circular
Depository Participant (DPs) are advised to refer Communique CDSL/ADM/DP/GENRL/6272 dated December 02, 2016(copy enclosed), introducing the online facility in ‘Easiest’ for updating following details of DP service centres,
• Add new service centres.
• Modify details of existing service centres.
• Delete existing service centre records.
• Update changes in demographic details, such as email ID, mobile number, and address, immediately through the ‘Easiest’ login portal.
DPs are further advised to download the list of service centres, verify the details against their records, and make the necessary additions, modifications or deletions in case of any discrepancy.
In the event of closure of a service centre, the DP shall provide at least 30 days’ prior notice to all clients availing depository services through that service centre. Upon completion of the notice period the DP shall delete the service centre entry through its ‘Easiest login’.
