Extension of timeline for submission of the Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience Audit Report of Trading Members
Highlights of BSE Circular dated December -24 -2025
This is with reference to Exchange circular no. 20251110-19 dated November 10, 2025, on “Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience Audit of Trading Members” which provides that, as per SEBI-CSCRF trading members falling under Qualified RE’s and Mid-size RE’s/Small size RE’s providing IBT or Algo Trading facility are required to conduct Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience Audit on half yearly basis for audit period ending September 30, 2025, and submit report to the Exchange.
Considering the representations received from market participants, Exchanges, in consultation with SEBI, have extended the timelines for submission of the preliminary Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience Audit report for all eligible members. The details of revised timelines of submission are provided in the attached circular.
Additionally, with reference to Exchange Notice No. 20250929-81 dated September 29, 2025, regarding technology-based sharing mechanisms for common submissions among exchanges, Members of the Exchange who are also registered with NSE shall submit their Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience Audit report to NSE only. Members of the Exchange who are not registered with NSE shall continue to make submissions to the Exchange as per existing process.
All Trading Members are requested to take note of the above and comply.
