Highlights of  the Circular

Key Change

  • Price data can now be shared/used with a 30-day lag
  • Earlier limits:
    • 1 day lag → too short
    • 3 months lag → too long

Special Relaxation

  • NISM allowed access to data with 1-day lag for simulation labs

Conditions

  • Data sharing only for:
    • Education
    • Investor awareness
  • Legal agreements & audit trails required to prevent misuse

Applicability

  • Effective from July 1, 2026
