Dai,

As you are aware I'm in Brunei now and enjoying 'sultan's oil money', I wish I was there and funnily it's the same old faces, just wonder why  intellectual bhai/bahinis are not interested to attend??  Where is GM QOGLR can you drag him out.

We had great time with the Chief and that will remains with us for a long time. Enjoy the day and convey my regards to both dais please.

Dear friends and Dai haru,

Hope you all have a great time.

I would have loved to join the gathering, but unfortunately it is too short notice for me and I am not able to attend.

Best wishes to you all.

Dear friends,

Just wanted to update on the mini gathering we recently had at short notice on Saturday 19 Oct 13 at Aldershot military town.  All, less Tekbahadur Loktam (hope he is now back from the hospital) from my original list managed to turn up.  In addition, as promised Devendra Ale also came by to say hi before he had to disappear for his 2nd Regimental Dashain Party. Had a few drinks (not sure if this word fits to some of us as we could hear some real loud voices around!) prior to proceeding for dinner at Mimosa situated at Aldershot Westgate Leisure Park.

Overall, it was a great evening specially for me to meet my two friends from 2nd Batch A, Pushkar and Piush after such a long time (32 years!). I am very confident that everyone felt the same.  I wish to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to all who attended and made the evening a huge success.

For Ngawang, Mekh and Shyam bhais - Many thanks for letting me know.  Hope you guys will be able to make the next one!

For Purna bhai - Is Tekbahadur Thapa sir still in the GRU? Assume a mini bhela is possible in Brunei as Ratna bhai is also around.

Hitman Dai,

It just made me jealous!!! What happened to Loktam, last time it was Maden, now Loktam, it must be 'Ashford Fever'.  Dai, you must be kidding yaar, we are about to retire, Tek Thapa was long gone and there is no Nepali School in GRU but as you mentioned Rat is here so we might have grand gathering with 2 people not forgetting our other half.

Dear Sebsers

Sebs Nepal has taken an initiative in helping SunKoshi flood victims. Due to massive landslides, many houses were destroyed, more than 30 people are confirmed dead and hundreds missing. It is definitely worth cause supporting and I hope sebs-uk can make some contribution.

If we can collect some clothings, or donate money, we could arrange for these to be sent to Nepal to help flood victims. I will see what would be the best way for everyone to contribute some money for this cause and communicate it to you all.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards

Santosh ("283c")
