All,

Mike Cassidy took the time to update the H89-Z37 BOM since it has been a long time and some p/n are not valid anymore. Thanks Mike!

I moved all the required files to the new website and there is a rework for the current board.

I will be adding new H89 files to the new website as follows:

  1. New H89-MSX (To play vintage games on HDMI/ XBOX Controller) - Status: Not tested yet
  2. New S89 MSX - (To play vintage games on HDMI/XBOX Controller) Status: Working
  3. New H89 Z67 + 3-Serial Ports  Status: Working
  4. New H89-16KB memory board (Takes less power than the original Heath board and can use TTL header on H89-UPI board) Status: Working
  5. New H89-H17 board - (Based on the H8-H17 schematics) Status: Not tested yet
  6. New H89-H47 board (Based on the H8 Z47 schematics) Status: Not tested yet
  7. H89-UPI board - (Enables H19 Graphics) Status: Working
  8. IGC board + Cable adapter modules (For H19/H19A terminal board) Status: Working
  9. S89 SD Storage Board Status: Working
  10. New H89 Z80 Speed board (still 2/4 MHz) Status: Not tested yet

On the H8 one additional file:
  1. New H8-UPI board with 2x-Parallel Ports (Enables H19/H19A graphics) Status: Not tested yet

I also want to thank Mike for collaborating with me to document the H8 Dual CF board. We have created an assembly and user guide for that board:

I don’t think I see mention on Norberto’s list of the new NCSuper89 motherboard(?). In many ways this lets H89 users “catch up” with the H8 world by providing things like 16Mhz CPU support, on-board 512K RAM (enables CP/M 3), built in USB/VDIP and more. There’s been a small group beta testing this board, which I hope will move to “production” soon!  Though I’m still a dyed-in-the-wool H8 fan, the Super89 is a fun and powerful machine. For some time recently our group has focused on H8 boards and capabilities (nothing wrong with that!) but it is good to see some new and exciting capabilities for the ’89!
