TheSVD for 16 hard sectors

Hi,

I am trying a few options in order to replace old 16 hard sectors Micropolis 5.25 drives hooked to a quite rare Swiss computer, the Smaky 6.

I already had encouraging results with a Gotek + FlashFloppy experimental firmware (read only), I recently built an HSFE with 16-sectots firmware (thanks Chris, I will try it next weekend if all goes well) and I now was looking at TheSVD.

I will build one next, I just had a quick look but the hard sector stuff seems to be tightly integrated with the H17 format support in the firmware, and it is PIC assembly I don't know that much.

Has anybody had a go at 16 hard sectors support in TheSVD before I jump in it ? Anybody have an idea on how to do it reasonably cleanly ?

Maybe is Eric Rothfus still around ?
