It was as a beautiful day today in Wall NJ for the VCFED annual
Swap Meet, my first time attending. Saw some familiar faces like Alex Bodnar and Herb Johnson. The place was flooded with Macintosh and old PC clones so the fact that i had some true vintage equipment drew some attention, at least from the older crowd. I had a successful downsizing day finding new owners for two Z110 systems, some MultiBus boards and a slew of stuff that was just taking up space. Saw almost no other Heath gear (the H19 and the NABU didn’t  sell)

Wow, it looks like the weather cooperated. Beautiful blue skies, and you're not wearing a winter coat. :-)

Find any old junk / priceless antiques?

What did the Z-110s sell for? These are normally even harder to move than H19s and H89s.

I sold the z100s for $200 each. The first one had 192k ram and 64k vram with three banks (ie dual-buffered color). I threw in a few boxes of manuals

The second one was a 128k setup with 32k color and an 8MHz speed switch. On that one I threw in the zvm-135 monitor

I was happy to give them new homes

I wanted $150 for the h19. Had a couple of serious lookers but ultimately no takers

Oh. Didn’t see much old stuff. A few old radios and some old test equipment. Like I say it was mostly a sea of macintoshes and pc clones.

There's another swap meet at System Source in MD on November 8th. That
might be closer to you.

Glenn, a few questions about the H-19

1. is it still available?
2. is it an H-19 or an H-19A?
3. is it fully functional or needing some TLC?
4. where are you located?

Thank you
Paul Cushing

Oh nuts, I was hoping it was really a H-19A

Thanks anyway

I also have an H-19A that I purchased early last year in unknown condition.  Joe Travis repaired the TLB and i am now struggling to figure out what is wrong with the Video Board.  Its a long slow process.  For now I am using LES Bird's H-19 Emulator on my Windows laptop.

What are the symptoms you’re seeing on the video?

No raster or filament on tube, no high voltage, pulls the +65V down to about 53V, and now the board has started "sizzling" and the heat sink gets very hot.  I need to pull the board back out again and see what is going on the back side.  I am so tired of taking the video board out.

One shorted transistor and one blown transistor in the 53V regulator circuit.  i removed all four to check them out-of-circuit. I have checked all the others on the board in-circuit and all seem to be ok.
