Interesting silver ink to make circuits.

For all you hardware types, here are two stories I saw on engadet that you may find interesting.


xerox develops the silver ink:

The second one is not quite as interesting, using an ink jet printer to etch boards:

The problem with those techniques is you have to manually drill the
board and how do you do plated through holes? There are a lot of holes
in a 12 x 6 PCB! I've looked at those alternatives before (at least
the inkjet one) and it's just easier to have a few prototype boards
made up by a PCB fab with plated through holes and silkscreening.
