Fellow SEBHCers: you may have noticed that the “REMarks” newsletter feed has been silent for a few months.  I promised that before I posted the next issue I’d work on a better location to house these. Les Bird has foolishly given me the keys to the car 😊 so I’ve carved out a little space on the SEBHC web page to house these.  You’ll find them in the Documentation section at sebhc.github.io:

https://sebhc.github.io/sebhc/documentation.html

This is a starting point and as our collection grows I can organize the page better and provide a topic index if appropriate. For now this is a much improved solution to what we had before.

Now that I have a home it’s time to work on generating some new issues.  I have some ideas but am always interested in ideas from others. Even if you don’t feel comfortable writing perhaps you have a topic suggestion that I or others in the group can work.

Please let me know if you spot any issues or have comments or suggestions.  thanks!

This is awesome Glenn! Exactly what I was hoping for by putting the website on Github and giving access to whoever needs it to add content. Well done!

Thx! I’ve already got a list of topics. Probably will focus on USB/flash stick first as this is now even supported in the new ROM image

Kudos to keeping REMarks alive. The only thing that discourages me from seeing H/Z100 and H/Z80/92 series users has declined lately. The most in-demand is the H8 system. The eBay sellers think the H/Z100 or H/Z80/92 were gold and seek the highest bid cost and tremendous cost for shipping nowadays. They were not in running condition. No one is buying it, and I assumed they were frustrated and dumped it into the trash can. The sellers tend to separate documentation and software. Oh well, I will be 70 years old in the next few months in fair health condition. Perhaps I should consider downsizing my hobbies by early next year.

I admit to an H8 bias but want material that is of interest to the whole group. Many of the topics will apply to both H8 and H88/89/90 environments. For truly H89 specific pieces I will probably rely on some of you to raise your hand.

I love the Z100 as well and think that’s fair game, however the Z100 Lifeline is still alive. He recently has done some issues on GoTek drives…
