I ordered some PC8477BV-1 floppy controller and I think it will be a great addition to the H8 Floppy controllers family, even I do not have that many 5.25” floppies drives working as they die of old age.
To get it working properly it will required a Z80 running at 10MHz or Z180 at 12MHz.
We can use the
PC-formatted 3.5" floppy media with supported single-, double- or high-density, 3.5", 5.25", or 8".
I think MMS CP/M3 can take advantage of this controller storage capacity.
Thanks,
Norberto
