Santosh Sobhan's upcoming film in a Prestigious vyjayanthi banner which made Mahanati, Sita Ramam is directed by Nandini Reddy. The film is titled as Anni Manchi Sakunamule. Sanosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair playing the lead pair, it has many senior actors Rajendra Prasad, Gauthmi, Sowcar Janaki, Naresh, etc. in important roles. The teaser gives a glimpse about this feel good emotional drama.
Now it's time for songs. Makers released the titles song on the eve of Ugadi festival. The song also reflects the ups and downs in life and gives a hope that everything gets better after a while just like the Telugu festival conveys. The album composed by Mickey J Meyer consists of some lovely tracks. The first and title track which is out now gives pleasant vibes with soothing composition, soulful singing, and meaningful lyrics.
However, the tightly knit drama revolving around multiple characters gets a tad generic in the later portions as though to force-fit some entertaining elements. The Andhra-Telangana food fight and the song that ensues have their moments but the family members taking turns to sing and dance to older Hindi and Telugu hits at a wedding seem like a Sooraj Barjatya film of the 90s or a Karan Johar movie of the early 2000s. A proposal on the sidelines holds no charm. Some of the humour is also bland.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
I've seen a couple performances online that were quite clever in using what they had or making little additions that are funny. One performance had a girl who couldn't walk well but sang well; they let her be an extra orphan, strapped her to a bed, and had her immobile as if she was a polio victim (score one for a director willing to include the handicapped while making it *very* realistic for the '30s). They even had Miss Hannigan say the orphan was "laying down on the job." (Like her 'don't get up" to FDR in some, a line only she could deliver becasue it's in her character.) In another, right after the orphans do SMILE, Duffy asks Miss Hannigan if she got the letter Duffy had sent. When she said she hadn't, Duffy says "Oh, I must have forgotten to stamp it!" as she stomps on her foot.
Today the makers released the title song, which is euphonious. The track penned by Rahman is enriched by the soulful music of Micky J Meyer. The song depicts human relations and emotions in a beautiful manner. It also talks about an important aspect that one must move forward in life no matter what happens.
Technical Excellence:
Mickey J Meyer appears to have reworked some of his older songs. His songs aren't particularly noteworthy. Although the title song is pleasant to hear, it serves only as a background piece and has little impact.
Santosh Shoban is getting ready with the theatrical release of 'Anni Manchi Sakunamule'. The family entertainer will be released in theatres on May 18. Days after its teaser was released by Swapna Cinema and Mithravinda Movies, its first song was out today.
The title track from the movie was released at an event in Hyderabad. The Mickey J Meyer composition is lilting and reminds us of his work from family dramas like 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Karthik's voice brings a touch of warmth to the visuals of friends and family sharing laughs and light moments. Rahman's lyrics allude to the philosophy of life being a pre-ordained drama between union and end.
The team is on the beach looking at all the seashells when they see two hermit crab pinch their claws as a way of saying hello. Annie sees them singing their friendship song, so she sings with them. Their song makes their other animals play with their friends, until a big wave washes the red hermit crab off to sea. Now, it's up to the team to help the lonely blue hermit crab rescue his friend, before he gets caught in a crab traps by the Crab Hunters and the shark will eat him!
To make the hermit crabs reunite, First: Rocket transforms into a submarine, as he meets the Yellow Angel Fish while they camouflage their colors to hide from the shark. Now you can help June do the Coral Reef Dance with the Yellow Angel Fish. The Coral Reef Dance is like the Down, Up, Up Dance in the underwater from The Glass Slipper Ball. But when they stop, they see the shark again! So they camouflage their colors to hide again. And when they finish the Coral Reef Dance, Annie is going to sing the love song to the Yellow Angel Fish for thanking him. Second, you must enter the undersea tunnel. And inside, is the art of Kuna Molas. And now, they hear a gigglefish. Now they have to follow gigglefish, but the gigglefish is swimming faster and the heroes didn't know where the gigglefish is in one of the tunnels. So help Quincy play a trill of his piano that sounds like a gigglefish. Now Annie is going to sing the love song to the GiggleFish for thanking him. Third: When the shark is almost ready to eat the red hermit crab, the heroes must help Submarine Rocket swim Super Fast and help Annie sing her love song so that shark can be a good guy to have fun with the hermit crabs!
The episode starts of the beautiful friendship holiday of Valentine's Day with the Little Einsteins at the beach, building the sandcastle and playing at the beach while Annie said that they're playing with her best friends at the beach. Leo knew that they're not the only best friends at the beach, because there are two two little hermit crabs at the beach who love playing together. but Quincy can't find two little hermit crabs, because June mentioned that the hermit crabs love to live inside the seashells and soon, the two hermit crabs pop out of the shell and so, Annie said hello to the two hermit crabs by open and close her hands like little claw and so, the two hermit crabs clicks their claws back to Annie. Annie knew that the two hermit crabs loves to play together. So, the blue hermit crabs clicks his claw together which made the red hermit crab laugh and Quincy knew that best friends sure do have fun together. Soon, the two hermit crabs sings the friendship song to the Little Einsteins because the two hermit crabs wants to be friends with us and Annie knew that she wants to be with their friend and so did the other team. Leo told Annie to sing the friendship song to the two hermit crabs, and so, Annie puts out her microphone and sang the friendship song to the two hermit crabs. Then, Leo puts out his binocular and look over the ocean to show that the dolphins wants to be friends and play together. Then, Leo uses his binoculars and look over the jungle to show that the baby monkeys also wants to be friends and play together. Soon, the huge waves came in and the whole team runs away from the whole team and so did the two hermit crabs. The blue hermit crabs made it in time, but the red hermit crab got washed away from the wave. Soon, Annie knew that she saw the blue hermit crab and the red hermit crab who got washed away from the sea and carried the red hermit crab far away by those ocean currents. Then, Annie knew that the Little Einsteins will help the blue hermit crab find the red hermit crab because best friends have to be together. So Leo put out his baton and told the whole team that they got a mission on finding the red hermit crab and reunite with his best friends, the blue hermit crab. So they all head inside Rocket, buckle their seatbelts, do the pat sequence, and blast off.
After they blast off, the blue hermit crab tries to call to the red hermit crab, who washed away from the wave and taken away from the ocean current, by singing the friendship song and Annie sang the friendship song. Soon, Rocket hovers over the ocean and put out his display screen. First, the whole team listen to the first location of the ocean, but the first location of the ocean had a weedy sea dragon. Secondly, the whole team listen to the second location of the ocean, but the second location of the ocean contains a shark in which Quincy knew that they don't want to run into a shark like in Whale Tale. Lastly, the whole team listen to the third location of the ocean and it did sound like the red hermit crab in which he got carried away from the ocean current after the wave washed away from the beach. Unfortunately, the red hermit crab is drifting along the Gulf Stream which contains powerful underwater current. The Gulf Stream carried the red hermit crab over the coral reef, through the undersea tunnel, and all the way to the crab trap in which the red hermit crab got trapped inside the crab trap by the Crab Hunters! Annie knew that they got their best friend Rocket to help them. Therefore, Rocket transforms into a submarine and submerge the underwater.
