Hello!
I hope you're all having a relaxing weekend.

I wrote this up for the parents I know. If you know any parents of 2-6 year olds, please pass this onto them!

Tomorrow begins a new SUNDAY SERIES of Kids Yoga at Rock Band Land. Four Sundays in a row!
I invite you to bring your child for some playful yoga and active social time.

SUNDAY 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, & 6/26
KIDS YOGA at ROCK BAND LAND
3075 17TH Street @ Folsom Street
10:15-11:00 AM
For Ages 2-6

Why Yoga for Kids?
Here's a list of many benefits from Karma Kids Yoga (who I am certified through). We practice fun-filled yoga poses and breathing exercises to promote:
• Physical Strength and Flexibility
• Concentration, Focus and Attention
• Inner Strength and Body Awareness
• Confidence and Self-esteem
• Relaxation and Self-control
• A Feeling of Well-being and Respect for Others
• Love for One's Self, Inside and Out

I know weekends are busy, so if your child can't make it to all four weekends, I'm happy to pro-rate the classes accordingly. (More classes = more of a discount.) Drop-in is only $20 as well.

3-6 year olds can be dropped off while you do some grocery shopping at Gus's or Rainbow Grocery, or hang out at Stable Cafe nearby, though you're also welcome to stay and participate in the class.

2 year olds are welcome too, with a parent or caregiver. It's best if the adult with them is playing along. Don't worry we don't do anything too pretzel-like, and you don't have to do anything you don't want to (at least in this class).

A note about the 2yo age group: They will pick up on the yoga poses and games just by being exposed to them, even if they don't show it right away. It's expected that they will "flop out", and watch at times, and join in when they want to, and that's actually great for their age. We've had two year olds who go home and sing the songs from class, and pick up on the poses right away.  Moving in a group setting is so rewarding for them.

Leave extra time for parking, if you can. If you're late due to parking, I understand that as well. Please just knock if the door is closed (if you're early or late). My # is 415 515 7604 / if you are running late, and you think of it, just send a text so I know to expect you.

THANK YOU
Jessie
