Hello All..

I actually wanted to know about the statistics which is being shown on any volume server's 8080 port index file.

A volume before vacuum

Id

Size

Files

Trash

before

2469

31446992214 Bytes

449013

17471 / 1358846149 Bytes

after

2469

2884892210 Bytes

32834

0 / 0 Bytes

What changes came across after vacuum ? If I subtract the trash bytes from the total size of volume the resulting value is not the same as in lower row for size.

If I subtract the total trash files from the total files , the resulting value is different from the written in the lower row.

Then what is it? Anybody can tell me the actual change which is happening in all these stats?

I forgot the exact meaning, but one file may have several updates. Each update is counted as one file also. That's why the "Files" entry is so large.
