Hi everyone,
THANK YOU to all who made it to the shows last week!
In my indeterminate retirement from producing shows, I'm going back to the origins of this email list, just sharing some shows I love.
There are two big ones this week, album releases by two favorites!
Little Wings Wednesday early at the Make-Out Room
+ Mariee Sioux Sunday in Bolinas
+ Lindsay Clark is in town from Portland June 22nd

It is with great excitement we invite you to join us at the Community Center in Bolinas California for an evening of potent music to Celebrate Mariee Sioux's album release and start calling in summer. This is open to the public and kid friendly!
(be sure your children will be able to stay through 2 hrs quietly though please!)

As people arrive we are inviting everyone to take part a simple community alter building, bringing a flower(s) and or small item that you can take home with you after (NO real candles) that represents your ancestors or anything you are going through and want to honor at this time. Much of this evening will be about honoring our ancestors, the Coastal Miwok people whose occupied land Bolinas resides on and prayers for the awakening of our species needed to carry us through these times we're faced with.

To start this evening off we will have Southern California duo Parting Lines opening! This new project comprised of Tim Ramsey and Trevor Beld Jimenez is fun a full of beautiful melodic twists turns to get lost in and groove to! They are longtime members of the bygone Los Angeles folk-rock outfit, Tall Tales and the Silver Lining, and sidemen to bands Vetiver, Little Wings, and DIOS. Their debut LP, See You On The Other Side, was released on August 31, 2018 on Night Bloom Records has upbeat and moving melodies that sometimes gives nods to Petty and Springsteen.
Closing out the evening Mariee Sioux will be performing her new record Grief in Exile in it's entirety from start to finish with her backing ensemble, father Gary Sobonya (on mandolin) & fellow songwriters/producers, Kacey Johansing and Tim Ramsey who helped record the album, much of it actually IN Bolinas spring of 2018. This will be a very special event in a place that has great significance to them all <3. A few songs from the album even were written in Bolinas where Mariee spent much of her time over the past decade.
We would love for you to join us in the magic of this evening!
