Hi everyone,

If you're local, I'd love to see you at this EARLY show in SF next Friday!!! 7-9:30PM.

It's going to be really fun, and special - with two of my favorite humans performing, along with the choir.

Get Tix!

The Vanessa VerLee will open the night with her rare spoken word ~ she will also be emceeing the night! It's also her bday today - so wish her a belated happy birthday when you see her. :) Vanessa & I met ~20 years ago thru the WomenRock Music Collective & have become incredible friends over the past few years - so this feels like a return to our origins to do this show together.

Then, Charlie Stellar will rock us with her vocally-moving fierce-heart-songs, joined by a new drummer, Tina! Charlie's become one of my closest friends as well - we met on the Feldenkrais floor of Augusta Moore's class at ODC some years ago - and then at some point I learned she studied music and has a deep drive to write songs. She picked up a guitar in recent years, and started creating intricate and honest songs that get me every time. If that weren't enough, her vocal range is a feat unto itself. She's bringing something new thru in her songwriting, and I hope you join us in experiencing her songs - now with a drummer!

SF-based vocal ensemble Conspiracy of Venus (that I've been in adventure with since day 1, in January 2007!) will sing the music of Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, PJ Harvey, and local artists (Brian Belknap is one of those artists!) - including a NEW SONG by a former choir member.
Stunning arrangements by director (who is genius in my opinion) - Joyce Todd McBride.

Hope to see you there!
Thanks and Love,
Jessie
