Welcome back to default! Now that you are all showed and have gotten most of the dust out of your ears. We've some final work to finish our Burning adventure.

This is for everyone! Absolutely everyone! No excuses here.

The drivers should have their stuff off the trucks by now. Let's get both trucks to inkfarm and start unloading Saturday at 1000 sharp.

1000 to 1200 at inkfarm to unload personal stuff and reorganize the trucks. This is the time to get your personal stuff. Come prepared to take your things away.

One truck then goes to the build space, the other to woodenville. At least 8 people are needed at woodenville for org, inventory, and stuffing.

Then, Party Time!

Will I be able to show up earlier to unload? I have massage clients 11-6 Saturday that have been booked for weeks.

On a side note, the ideal job I interviewed for before leaving fell through. If anyone has any insight on something that isn't as soul sucking as selling insurance, please let me know. The last few days back in the office have been brutal!! I realized working on the project and organizing the food stuff how much I really enjoyed all of it, despite the inherent stress. After the burn I just keep thinking life is too damn precious and short to waste doing something I don't enjoy.

Seaweed Peeps-

The San Gennero festival will be going on this weekend on S. Angelo Street. We will therefore have no access to the front of Inkfarm. Please enter through the back Alley.
Let me know if there are any questions at any time.

I think it's not an accident that a lot of burners tend to be project managers in their respective fields, be it aerospace or software or whatever.  It's all about managing all the parts and the schedules and putting out fires and dealing with people.

I heard the rule of thumb is you can't quit anything for at least 3 weeks post-burn Mr. Easterday. But I concur with your mood...

P.S. sweet seaweeders, here is a ghostly pic of a ghost

Hello chandra. I am happy you and Mike made it home safely.  Thank you so much for reading my cards.  It made perfect sense.  It was pleasure hanging with you guys.  Please give Mike a big hug for me.

Much love to you.

I just looked up project management certification programs. UW is long and expensive ~$5,000. Project Management Institute is affordable and online, but I wonder if anyone would take it seriously.

I just want to figure out what I want to be when I grow up besides a badass mo' fo'!!

PMI is the gold standard. Any certification from them will instantly make you a credible candidate for a job in project coordination or management.

Chandra you grow more amazing every day!! I shared the link immediately with my other mis-adventurers that morning. Personally I had tons of fun on the search and still danced to the first rays of the day to great music at Mayan Warrior.

Ever figure out what DJ blew your mind?

I'm remodeling an RV into a mobile massage clinic right now. Coming to Seattle anytime soon? You should book an appointment when you do.

BTW, still loving Tycho. I think he's going to be at Sasquatch this year!
