In order to best coordinate food prep I need to figure out who has a freezer with space and a vacuum sealer. From there I can sort out where we can have food making parties.

Mine kitchen is smallish - big enough for 2 people to cook max - but could be used. Located near whole foods downtown. My freezer is not huge but about 1/2 empty. Let me know if that helps.

I have freezer space but it is in Edmonds.  I can bring anything up after work parties and bring it back to truck load. It is an empty side by side refer/freezer, so not too wide.

I thought seaweed got one last year. We used it when lisa v was kitchen lead.

Hi,
so we have the finalized menu? I just thought to suggest to add the goat curry, as mentioned, there are not many meat dishes.
what do you think about it? Goat curry with rice or naan bread...mmmm...so delicious. I cooked it last year, freezed and preheated in playa. I can cook this with 2 foil trays or so, I think it will be enough for 30-35 ppl.

That would be great! I can also haul food up to you if you aren't down for the cook party. 

Casey may want to talk to you about your freezer as well.

If you do want to take on the goat curry you will need to go through the shopping list and subtract out the amounts of whatever if your going to replace a meal.

Yes, sure I can cook goat curry.

It'd be nice if the dahl still stays on the menu. The goat curry could be served along with it. It'll keep the options for open for vegetarians

After re reading this strong it looks like you're serious about goat curry. I think plenty of members won't want to eat it, and it can't possibly be inexpensive. I think it would be much better to stick with meats that are more familiar to this bunch.

I do have this large Amana side by side. I plugged it in and it works. I will try it overnight to make sure.  We can use it on the Playa and I can store it again or save it anywhere for another burn.
