Greetings Generations Baby Boom through Z,
It is now ten days before December 31st, which traditionally marks the start of the scramble to figure out your New Year's plans. For those who need a refresher, the
scramble plays like this: you know what your New Year's Eve options are, but you
cannot know which option will be the most 'off the hook' until you know
what everyone else is doing. So it is always in your best interest to
hold out on committing to any New Year's options until the last minute.
Unfortunately, when every player employs this strategy (as they
should), it inevitably leads to a suboptimal outcome involving a
half-assed house party and/or the Hard Rock Cafe.
That's why this year, in order to save you from your own rational
self-interest, a group of Seattle comics and musicians have decided to fundamentally change the game. How? By throwing a New Year's party that is guaranteed to be maximally 'off the hook' , and that will probably sell out, thus negating the benefit of waiting until the last minute.
For the academics out there, here are the details:
- Charles in Salute to the Decade
- Performances from the Entertainment Show, Danielle Radford, Bret Fetzer, *Charles*, Killer Donut, and Jacqueline C as well as musical guests like Handshakes, Stranger Gallery, Blunt Mechanic and Some Prometheans

Sincerely,
charlie and chuck (Charles)
