Charles Shows this Weekend, plus other items of interest

Hello Aliens and Predators,

 

Charles is pleased to announce several things.  The most immediate of which are a pair of upcoming shows this weekend:

 

Friday and Saturday (4/30 and 5/1) Charles will be opening for our friends the Pork Filled Players in their new show "Pork Fiction". Showtime for both nights is 8 o'clock.  Show is at Theatre Off Jackson in the International District (409 7th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104).  Tickets may be purchased online via Brown Paper Tickets from the following hyper-linked text:

The next item of interest is somewhat sadder, and concerns our recent five seconds of fame provided by National Public Radio.  No, we weren't being profiled by Ira Glass, rather, the far less nasaly staff of All Things Considered, who were doing a story about the demise of Seattle's favorite coin-operated peep-show and signage comedian, the Lusty Lady. They were good enough to talk with both Charlie and Chuck for a good twenty minutes about the Lady's marquee; from that conversation, they ultimately broadcast an anecdote of Chuck's concerning a school field trip to the Seattle Art Museum/Lusty Lady which was highly formative on his young and impressionable sense of humor.  The writeup is here:

Of FURTHER interst are our upcoming out of town shows.  We would call it a tour, but that would be inaccurate:

May 12 - 13 in Los Angeles, CA, USA

June 17 - 18 in San Francisco, CA, USA

June 30 - July 10 in Toronto, ON, Canada

 

Further details to follow on those shows.  In the mean time, come see us this weekend, it's not like Cliff Lee is pitching BOTH nights.
