My name is Danny, and I'm located on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle. Where are you guys located, and where do you fly? I started out in this hobby for video/photo purposes, using Kites and GoPros, then a 450-size helicopter, then RC seaplanes (Icon A5's, the big version), and now I'm mostly building multirotors. I'm currently flying a 580mm RotorBits Hex, running Pixhawk 3.1.5, with the end-goal of having a travel-copter that can carry a 3-axis gimbal and a zoomable camera. Anywho, I'd love to nerd out with any locals, as this is a pretty small hobby and my poor lady friend is going insane with all my drone talk...

PS - there are 3 other guys on Queen that are flying various rigs - a Phantom 2, a DRQ250, and a DIY H-Quad. We've gotten together a couple times, and I'd love to get a meetup group of sorts going: maybe a twice-monthly at a safe flying site? I know Wx is often the issue, but I think if we can all communicate a "hey guys, Wx looks good for the next ____ days, lets get together" it could work out. Food for thought.

I'm located in Capitol Hill

Where you fly your UAV?, Do you meet up with other flyers from the downtown/queen area?

I haven't flyed my UAV because i'm not sure if it's allowed to do it in Seattle parks, I have been researching and the Municipal code forbids it.

Any advice is appreciated.

I have been looking for people to fly quads or any RCs really. I run a 350QX2 quad copter that i haven't really modified yet but would like to fly with other enthusiasts.
