Purpose:

Welcome to the official group of the Seattle International Randonneurs (SIR) cycling club.

This list serves as a randonneuring networking, forum, and information hub at the local level. It is intended as a supplement, not a replacement, for national lists and other national/global lists such as Randonneurs USA (RUSA) group.

A suggested use is to encourage and facilitate topics that primarily concern randonneuring in and around Seattle, Washington and are of interest to SIR members. SIR will likewise use this as a channel to make announcements.

Only group members can post and reply, but everyone (member or not, logged-in or not) can see the group, this welcome message, and the posts.

Group Rules:

1. Participants are expected to be civil and respectful towards each other.

2. Inflammatory/disparaging personal remarks, off-topic posts, and unsolicited commercial email (spam) will not be tolerated and should not be posted to the group.

3. Do not join and post to this group with the sole purpose of selling something. If your first post is a for-sale or fundraising post, you will be removed from this group immediately.

4. To foster the randonneuring community, consider signing your posts with your real name and RUSA#.
