I cannot load the route on the SIR website for the Granite Falls Spring 300K.
When I click on the link, BikeRouteToaster replies that it is a private route.

Here is the link to the SIR page:
http://www.seattlerandonneur.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=357:spring-300k-acp&catid=43:2011-brevets&Itemid=28

Here is the BRT link:
http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/Course.aspx?course=225778

I am interested in seeing the route portion from Seattle northwards, to some point where I would turn off to the Whidbey Island ferry (Mukilteo).

Thanks,
Eric Peterson

Eric,

It will take a bit of time/work to fix the permissions on that BRT route, for a quick answer, check the cue sheet (the link is just above the BRT link - http://www.seattlerandonneur.org/sir_content/rides/ride_archive/300km/300km_1_2011.xls

I checked and the cue sheet is is still posted and you should be able to bring it up.

Albert

I would link together the north Interurban Trail, Permanent #627 Queen Anne Loop, and Permanent 1015 Queen Anne-Everett.

Go north on the Interurban to 76th Ave W in Edmonds, then follow #627 backwards into Edmonds. Continue north on 9th Ave S instead of turning on Main St. Pick up #1015 at Caspers St. #1015 will take you right to the Mukilteo ferry.

You could also follow #627 from Seattle instead of taking the Interurban. Another option is to follow #627 backward from the Burke in Lake Forest Park. Both are hillier than the Interurban.

HTH,

Bill

The many suggestions were very helpful for an infrequent visitor to this area.
I recall now that when I rode back from Whidbey last year I essentially followed the route suggested by Bill below.
This time riding to the island I took a more direct route, following the Interurban where it existed, then joining #1015 at Olympic View Drive.

Thanks,
Eric Peterson
