Howdy all. I'm staying in Federal Way on Friday night and will be driving over to the Start at the Auburn Denny's. Is anyone else leaving their car at this location? Looking for some parking tips (i.e. a relatively safe place to leave my baby overnight).

I don’t know about safe (leave nothing of value in your car) but here’s what I did for the pre-ride:

Parking

I parked on the residential street parking on 4th Street NE by Auburn Way. It was a very short ride to the start at Denny’s and a very short ride from the finish at Garner Hotel Auburn. I used Google Satellite View to find potential targets and Street View to virtually scout out a few options that looked like the homeowners weren’t using the space. I left nothing of value in my car.

Start at Denny’s

Denny’s has an iOS and Android app where you can pre-order and pick up. As an added bonus, you may get 10% off your first order mobile. When I arrived at Denny’s my breakfast was ready and waiting. And today I received another email coupon for 20%!

Technically most Park & Ride lots restrict parking to less than 24 hours. I have no idea if this is actually enforced.
