Many of you have seen the SIR winter solstice ride video (http://vimeo.com/31356319). The team that shot that video has released "Beyond Naked" - their documentary about the Fremont Solstice naked bike ride. In the words of the creators, "Beyond Naked explores our fear and awkward fascination with nakedness through the eyes of four first-time riders in Seattle's legendary Solstice Parade." The movie was recently honored as the Best Documentary film at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival.
Chris and I watched the movie this week and found it thoroughly enjoyable. We both thought that the movie did a great job of capturing the quirkiness of Seattle/Fremont/Solstice Parade as well as a nice job of bringing out the humanity of the subjects. And the film is a real visual treat as well.
