Hi all, now that brevet season is mostly over, we're all probably thinking about winter training rides. If you're looking for a tough one, on December 9th I, along with some buddies, am putting together a 160k gravel race through Capital State Forest, just southwest of Olympia. This is a pretty informal "race." There's no race fee and no support, just show up at Olympia Coffee Roasters at 5am on December 9th and be ready to be fully self-reliant. It'll be an excellent chance to ride one of the finest networks of public gravel (and thereby 99% car-free) roads that the PNW has to offer. The weather will be bad, but the race will go on regardless. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, reply with your email and I'll put you on my list to send more info (route, guidelines, etc) next week. If not, then I'll see you in the Spring when the sun comes back.
Stay rando,
Ben
