This weekend's Summer 600K is getting very popular!

The more riders we have the more drop bags we'll have. All drop bags need to fit into a volunteer's car for the trip to the overnight hotel. Here are some tips to make this easier for everyone:

* Please keep your drop bags to a reasonable size. You're not planning a through-hike of the PCT. A small backpack or small duffel bag would be perfect.

* Please keep the drop bag weight reasonable. Leave your lucky rocks at home.

* Put a name tag on your drop bag. All black duffels look the same, especially at 3:00 AM. Ensure yours is easily identifiable.

It’s going to be hot too, 90s forecast for Centralia, so make sure to drink plenty of non alcoholic beverages 😊

Yes, this is all very helpful information.

I am visiting from the Bay Area and will be doing my first SIR brevet this weekend with you all.  Having these "normal procedures" noted is very helpful for an outsider like me.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.  I completed a 1200km in CO/WY last year and got to meet a number of SIR members at that event.

Sincerely,

Good stuff, Keith. Many thanks! I was really hoping to show off my lucky quartz collection from the 400 but I guess I'll just wait until you all come up to Bellingham.
