The Summer 300K route has been updated. Ensure you get the correct route named "26 Middle Fork 300K [FINAL]". You can find the link on the event page.
The route changes were mostly related to multiple road closures in the area. Specifically:
* E Lake Sammamish Parkway AND the E Lake Sammamish Trail are closed between NE Inglewood Hill Rd and Louis Thompson Rd NE. The original route took Louis Thompson Rd NE, the updated route takes E Lake Sammamish Parkway.
* W Snoqualmie River Rd SE is closed where it crosses Patterson Creek.
* SR 202 will be closed east of Fall City (just east of the roundabout) on the event weekend.
The SR 202 closure forced the biggest change for riders to be aware of: The route now takes the Snoqualmie Valley Trail from Fall City to Snoqualmie and back. This adds ~25K of plush, champagne gravel to the route.
Another minor change: The finish was moved from the Redmond Inn to the nearby Hampton Inn & Suites due to control room availability. The start is still at the Redmond Inn.
Note: There are zero services in the 50K from North Bend to the end of SE Middle Fork Rd (and back). There are multiple pit toilets along the road and at the turnaround, but no potable water, no food. Stock up in North Bend, there are many fine choices along the route.
Registration closes this Thursday, 07/23 at 12:00 Noon.
