Course restart on Wahoo devices

I often start permanents a locations other than the official start/finish which is now permitted for all perms. When I reach the finish with a Garmin I can just reload the course and start it and it will continue recording while navigating the course from that point. That procedure does not work on either the Wahoo Ace or Roam. Does anyone know how to continue recording after ending and  reloading a course on Wahoo devices?  Thanks.

It works on a Wahoo.

From the map page click “Route”

Then “end”.

“Yes” and workout continues to record

.you will be back on the route page

Click “Route” again to get your route list

Scroll to your route and click “select”

Answered your previous email. 

Regarding "start permanents a[t] locations other than the official start/finish which is now permitted for all perms." Point-to-point routes may only be started at the ends. Loops and out-and-backs, anywhere.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try again next time. I am obviously doing something wrong, possibly terminating the ride rather than the route.

It all happens from the map, then route page. You can not stop the ride from there
