I believe the M2 is pretty good. I know many in Reprap order others parts from them. So the company is definitely fine. The have an active IRC channel.

I've got a pre built hot end & other extruder parts from them from way back.... most excelent....

Makergear also has a google group here:

The electronics are a ramps-style motherboard (
http://www.reprap.org/wiki/Rambo ). I understand that they have dual
extruders in the works as well. As for the mechanical build, from
what I can tell it's pretty solid - fair disclosure: I also have one
on order.
