We focus predominately on distributed data
processing using a map reduce style. The meetings
are open to all and free of charge.

Outline for December 2nd:
Apache Mahout:
Chris will give an introduction to Apache
learning library that runs on Hadoop. In it he'll
demonstrate how you can use K-Means clustering to
group rows of data together and show how this can
be done with minimal java programming.
The take away will be that you can start using
this library soon without much investment.
Yahoo S4:
Sean will give an intro and overview of the
computing model of S4 and how it relates to Dryad
