You wonder how it happened? There are enough differences between the
house bill and the senate bill, there weren't no fucking way the
senate version would pass the house, which is probsbly the only way
they bill would get passed.

That's where the outhouse belongs in Republican land.

In Democrat land, the outhouse is 4 feet behind the hole.

1980? Wow... Jimmy Carter was president in 19880 and the Democrats
owned congress too.

Brown got about as many votes as McCain. Coakley only got 2/3 as many votes
as Obama. Clearly a lot of people stayed home.

WTF? I posted my opinion on something as an educated guess and you
claim its a "straw man?"

Let me guess, you saw someone else use that term in an argument and
decided it applies to every argument or something?

BTW... I was mostly right... exit polls say that the independents that
jumped ship to vote for Brown did so because the Health care program
didn't go far enough... over 80% of the "Obama voters" that voted for
Brown want a public option.

No reason to get so angry about me being right all the time.

...further...

Actually I pretty much nailed it... 48% that jumped ship opposed the
health care bill, and a whopping 67% said either "somewhat" or "very" to
THIS:

QUESTION: Is the issue of national health care reform very important,
somewhat important, or not important when deciding how or if to vote?

Sorry angry dude... I was provably right.

With Republicans never lifting a finger themselves for anything

Sounds like a majority felt "the issue of national health care reform"
was a very important reason to ~stop~ the socialist take-over of 1/6
of the economy. Clearly indicated by the success of the candidate who
equally clearly stated his undivided opposition to said marxist
scheming.

Yet a Massachusetts Republican who whole-heartedly opposes the Obama

Just make sure you match that spin with the threading on your arse

How many of them have publically threatened to kill government

How many of them think Americans have a primary duty to "stay loyal

How many of them cheered the deaths of 9/11 victims? On 9/12 no less?

How many of them have publically declared that US religious groups

How many of them have praised John Hinckley for his assassination
attempt on a sitting US president?

How many of them have publically threatened to blow up a national

look like a mining accident?"

How many of them have racially slurred African-American heroes like
Gen. Colin Powell?

How many of them have said repeatedly that educated, accomplished,

How many of them have publically fantasized about forcing oral

Nope they were shut down by the Democrats. So much for Obama's

All Rs oppose insurance reform. It's, like, a requirement to be an R.

Another partisan lie from you.

http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/apr2008/db20080429_854428.htm

McCain's Health-Care Proposal
The idea: More competition among insurers, spurred by a tax credit that helps consumers buy their own insurance, would lead to universal coverage

Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.), the likely Republican Presidential nominee, stayed true to GOP principles Apr. 29 when he unveiled a health-care reform proposal that leans heavily on competition rather than government intervention. He also wants to see the states take a far greater role in fostering that competition and in forming risk pools that would insure coverage for the sickest citizens.

Why do you always LIE, curt?

Choakey got 40% of the vote - clearly, Democrats did swallow hard and
voted along party lines. Sadly, even in Mass., there aren't enough
Democrats to put people in office.

I think you should be able to buy insurance from another state. I
think it should be easier to buy insurance as an individual (or
family) not just as a group - like car insurance. I don't think
insurance companies should be allowed to drop you because you get sick
or deny you for a pre-existing condition.

Too bad the Democrats just wanted to take over the health care
industry because I think there is plenty of common ground.

Liberals keep calling me gay as if that's some sort of insult.
Homosexuals have *NEVER* bristled about it and I take that as a
compliment.

But they didn't try to take over the health care industry -- just not
at all.

Huh. I've never noticed anyone calling you gay, but I haven't been
watching very closely. I personally think Bohica's a straight guy with
an asshole obsession. It happens. I'm sure there's a specialized porn

I think it's like this - every time I see the usual inane posting from
a liberal, I think to myself, "Geez what an a******." It must be
something similar - liberals remind him of a*****.
