Looking for a Contract Technical Recruiting opportunity within a
software/technology company. Contract with current company is ending. I bring

Recruiter for the telecommunication software division of GTE. Partner with
Human Resource Department to lead recruiting efforts and pro-actively source
qualified candidates. Techniques used are online advertising, dealing with
consulting/contract firms, networking within the telecom - network management
industry, organization of job fair participation and specific technical user
groups. Pre-screen potential candidates against technical qualifications of
open requistions. Coordinate weekly meetings with department managers to
assess/prioritize current needs and feedback on circulated resumes. Arrange

candidates with the processing of INS issues ( F-1, H-1, TN VISAs). Acted as
liason for the Microsoft Account with SDE and STE groups, while actively
pursuing new relationships with additional groups. Pro-active marketing of
qualified candidates to viable new accounts resulting in permanent and
contract business for our firm.

orientation. Utilized different recruiting techniques such as Internet,
networking, rouse calls and referral system. Maintained a portfolio of
clients along with recruiting responsibilities.

ALRO METALS SERVICE CENTER, TAMPA, FL Sales Representative, August, 1992 -
August, 1995 Responsibilities included internal and external sales
representative duties. This consisted of servicing customers by utilizing
knowledge of industrial and structural steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Prepared quotes involving competitive price structure, material processing
and shipping deadlines. Troubleshooted customer problems while maintaining a
high level of service. Customer base consisted of about fifty accounts,
including government, state and city contract business.
