The primary duties of this position include a variety of
environmental and land use planning projects. More specific
duties include environmental plan review and writing,
environmental document preparation, collecting project related
data which may include research, interviews with government
agencies and clients, map reviews, field investigations for
wetlands, land use, etc. Assimilates and manages data. Prepares
constraints mapping. Defines the level of environmental analysis
required. Conducts environmental impact assessments. Performs
complex assignments, making independent decisions on problems and
methods. Assists in preparation for and participation in public
information meetings and hearings. Assists public and private
clients with permit coordination, acquisition and compliance for
wetland impacts, bridge construction, threatened/endangered
species etc.

BS/MS in Planning or related field<br>5+ years experience with
transportation planning and design<br>AICP a plus<br>Knowledge of
various transportation planning software packages
