Hi Steampeeps,
Steamposium is returning this year and I am already thinking about ribbons, but I want to give out something more substantial.  I may have a 3D printer by then and want to hand out a little "something" to those who find me.

What I'm considering is something no larger than the figures you used to get in Red Rose tea.  For the benefit of those who have no clue what I am talking about: http://www.redrosetea.com/figurinehistory.aspx

Not knowing how to create a poll...Here is my question.

- Would you rather receive something useful like a dice?
- Something fun like a weird squid that would cling to your lanyard?
- Something completely non-useful but has only a few made and will be highly collectable?

Let me know in your replies. I will take the results in consideration if I do get the printer.

I think something representative of Steamposium

I vote for useful like dice, but I just know Sebastian would be thrilled with weird lanyard bling he can show off, but he's totally happy with tiny tchotchkes that have no use whatsoever, especially if they're "special". We have an itty bitty plastic dinosaur on our kitchen windowsill. I can't remember where it came from. I think he keeps it as a Wash/Serenity reference.

Monkeys are an idea. Monkeys are inherently funny. :D

Thanks for the link on the figurines. I think my mom had Jack, Queen of Hearts and Old King Cole. I remember fiddling when them when I was a kid.

Growing up in Canada, I can vouch for Red Rose tea being awful. I was always shocked that the adds were so snooty and the tea was so bad. I'm entertained that they were a channel for this kind of cute.
