Bring lots of cash. Cinebarre is not a cheap theatre. The food is moderately priced and palatable. The cocktails are good and they use top shelf rocket fuel. For you margarita fans, they serve 2 different flavours straight from a squishee machine.

Bump! Just over a week to Sherlock Holmes!
One of the original group has a conflict on Saturday night, looking
more like Sunday the 18th for us now (or a double assault on the
theatre, lol).

I'm a bit confused as to what day we are planning to see the new
Sherlock Holmes flick .
My vote would be for Friday night, since there are so many other
things going on later that weekend.
Also, are we sure that it will be playing at Cinebarre?

I hope all of us can go together, but scehdules at this time of the
year can be a pain to juggle...

OK, the Air Krakens Guild (AKG) have sorted out the schedule that
works for all of them, anyone wanting to join us is very welcome!
We will be going Sunday evening (7PM showing), and due to ID
complications have chosen to go to Alderwood 7 instead of Cinebarre.
(i don't know the layout well enough to say exactly where, but we'll
be there about 6:30-6:40)
We're planning to meet at Winnie's before, please contact one of the
AKGs (e.g. Winnie) if you're interested in that...
.
We're all getting steamed up for this!
.

Note: As a consolation, for those who might be disappointed by this venue change, I have it on good authority that the Alderwood 7 has first-rate popped corn... I believe they make it with one of those new steam powered corn expansion machines.
