For those of you who may want some fancy stuff for costuming I have come by a large box of lace, trim and pearl applique from a kind old lady who used to be a seamstress 30 years ago. I will be bringing it to the Wayward meet up next week (10/6). It is all free and if you want any it is first come first serve. Anything left over is going to Goodwill. See you there.

No , I am not.  Google won't let me unsubscribe because they say that I'm already Unsubscribed, yet I still receive group mail.  I live in San Francisco, so you can stop inviting me to Seattle area events any time now.  Please .

Sometimes it can take a day or so to stop getting messages from a group - particularly if you were subscribed in digest mode.  Not the mod but if it says you are unsubscribed that is as much as can be done by a mod and it's just going to take a day or so for Google groups to stop.  Good news is I'll bet your delete key still works in the mean time!  :)

Have a great day!

And good riddance!  What an exquisite example of poor netiquette.

Thanks for putting her down, Joshua, and kudos to all for your patience.

I have stuff I have no use for, and would like to be responsibly rid of, too.

In this case, it's yarn.

There's lots of it and the specific kind is:  the kind I keep not doing anything with and can't bring myself to throw away.

If I don't see any sign here or on Facebook that anybody wants it, I won't lug it all to the Wayward, but if you feel that you might like it, sight unseen, then I will.  There isn't enough to make a big project, but if you knit socks or want to experiment with fleecing or feel that there's no limit on the number of scarves a person can have or press on their family and friends, then this is the stash for you.

Do you have any contacts with Seattle Browncoats? There are a lot of knitters and crocheters in the Browncoats and they also patronize Wayward (obviously).

I only know one Browncoat, but I do know a knitter/crocheter and she's going to liberate me from my stash.  Yay!

Oh good. I’m a Browncoat but I almost never make it to the meetups these days. If needed I was prepared to spread the word but this works great. Yay indeed!
