Does anyone have an EPROM programmer?

All!

I'm looking at upgrading the ROM content of one of my newly acquired computers. It happens to have a 28-pin socket for a 27(C)512 chip. Unfortunately no FLASH ROM exists in this capacity and package, so I'm looking at burning an actual EPROM instead. I can buy the chips online, that's the easy part, but I have not programmer. Thus the question: does anyone have a programmer that I can borrow (or willing to bring to the next SRCS meeting or something similar) so I can get this job accomplished?

Thanks,
Andras

I have a TL866-3G-T48. This is the 3rd generation of TL866 USB programmers. This one can support Vpp up to 25v, which was the main deficiency of the previous version. It supports the 27C512.

Amazon has them for $62.

I can bring mine to the next meeting, or we can meet in the Bothell / Mill Creek area.

Fantastic, thanks a bunch!

Let me get the chips and I'll let you know when they arrive.

Winbond made W27C512 which is EEPROM. I have a bunch of blank ones for my 386. Send me a file and I can program one for you.
